Orienteering

Orienteering is an incredibly popular sport with both young and old, combining navigational skills with speed - Get Out - Go Country! has several courses suitable for groups new to orienteering, at Cwm Hedd Lakes and Croesheolydd Farm, Bassaleg, Newport.

School and youth groups can work towards the British Orienteering Federation Young Leader Award, with a structured course that takes place over six sessions.

The 200 acres of Croesheolydd Farm have been mapped for orienteering, with courses taking participants through pastures and woodlands.
