Paul Donovan

Paul is a qualified teacher, lecturer and outdoor activity coach with more than twenty years experience in dealing with public, private and voluntary sector organisations, providing safe and rewarding experiences and opportunities at the highest level, to enhance personal and social development of individuals and groups, both within the U.K. and abroad.

 Paul is a Director of Escape Routes, a company providing outdoor activity coaching, technical consultancy, management training services and worldwide trekking. In addition to this, he is a part time inspector for the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority (AALA), a regional expeditions’ co-ordinator and expedition leader for Adventureworks and Jagged Globe, as well as the Continual Professional Development (CPD) Officer for the British Association of International Mountain Leaders (BAIML).

 Paul holds the Mountain Leader Training UK (MLTUK) International Mountain Leader Award. He is also an MLTUK aspirant Mountaineering Instructor (MIA) and a British Canoe Union (BCU) aspirant Level Five Coach (Kayak).
